Download Standard Form to Apply for Promotion under CAS

Guidelines for submitting the Application online:

Step#1: Please download the standard form to apply for Promotion / Career Advancement under CAS by clicking the above mentioned link (the form is available in .doc format which is editable).

Step#2: Please fill up the editable form completely (downloaded as mentioned in step#1).

Step#3: Please put necessary signatures (applicant, HoD, & Dean) as mentioned the form.

Step#4: Please create a soft copy (single file as PDF) considering all the pages of the form (pages with the signatures must be included). The soft file should be named including the name of the applicant followed by department (for example, a file may be named as ABC_IT.pdf, where ABC is the name of the candidate and IT is the name of the department).

Step#5: Please upload the file (as PDF) in the form available at "Apply for Promotion under CAS (JAN 2024)".

Step#6: Please submit the hardcopy of the filled form (i.e., the standard form) along with supporting documents to the office of the Registrar, Gauhati University.
